Did these men get drawn into something they weren't even aware they were being drawn into? Will their careers, their economic engines be affected? Will their wives, their children, grandchildren and friends ask them about their silence and them seeking to silence others? Will the companies they work for, the clients they serve ask them questions they refuse to answer? Will they be able to silence everyone, or will their participation be exposed for what it is? Will they plead ignorance and say "I didn't know?" Will people around them give them grace and mercy or will those around them judge them as they seem to judge others?
Will other Christian white males, over 50 years old learn the lessons from these men? Will there be other Christian white males who will seek to jump in and protect those who sexually abuse girls? Will their wives and daughters feel their pain that the sexually abused girl felt at the hand of their fathers? Will their daughters allow it or stand up to their own dads and help them to see the hypocrisy of their own lives and call them to account?
Will the granddaughters of these men be sexually abused by them, their friends or other men? Who will hear the voice of those who are not able to speak? If you do not help speak for these young girls, then it's probably fair to say that no one will speak up for your daughter or granddaughter. Do NOT be delusional and think your girls / granddaughters are protected, as they are not.
