Who Are We?
Great Question!   In the book Starfish and the Spider they share the concept of a "leaderless organization."  We are like that ... except we are not an organization actually.  We're like a ghosts.  We do not accept money.  We are not incorporated in any country.   We are like ghosts.  

Why We Are Feared

Sexual predators, and those who protect them, let's face it, often are males over 50 years old and they have a lot of power. 

They have money, power and they love to use that to threaten women, people and even local police and others in leadership within the community.   

The challenge with DVN is that we aren't a spider but a starfish.  

Who Do I Join?
Again ... we are not an organization ... so you actually can't join.   You can participate by sharing this website with others to expand our voice.

Are You A Secret Organization?
Again ... we are not a organization ... & ... what we do, for sure, is NOT secret.   Our desire / passion is that all 8+ billion people in the world, will see this site to become aware of things, it seems that most people are not aware of.  We have no membership list ... yet ... there are those who participate all around the world.  Those who ignore the voice of those who are hurt ... those who have been abused, those who are silenced ... do so at their own risk.  Someone right next to you very likely is or soon will be "involved in DVN" 

There is no membership lists.

We are not registered anywhere in the world.

Why?

There are many reasons, actually.  
  • It's About The Voice Not Heard - Have you noticed that many organizations, start out with a great vision and to support a great cause and then ... over time ... it becomes about the people who lead / are in the organization, rather than the cause.  If there never is an organization ... this can not happen.
  • Powerful People Like To Silence The Voices Of Those They And Others Hurt - Obviously there are the really bad and evil people who traffic girls, rape women, fathers who sexually abuse their daughters, pastors who sexually abuse those they are suppose to serve and powerful business, government, media men who abuse their position of power and when their stories are told and they are called out they want to destroy those who are calling them out.   Hmmm ... how do you destroy a "ghost?"  How do you sue someone or a group of people who don't exist and therefore have no assets to threaten?
  • Create Awareness - Often, out of fear / lack of awareness, people like to ignore the hard things in life ... and focus on the easy things to help them feel ... good, self-righteous, deal with the easy stuff in life and ignore those who are deeply hurting.   
  • Create FEAR - In those who don't seem to listen, those who hurt, those who ignore ... that they may be called out as those who are on this site.  Remember how you act daily ... others are watching and you may be highlighted.  Do not be self-righteous and think "I would never do that."   If you know someone ... high lighted do not approach them with judgement ... but with compassion ... and ask them "Is this true?"   Sexual predators and those who protect them are used to using fear to shut others down.  DVN flips that fear back onto them as they are terrified of people
